The EFFECTIVE
MANAGER PROGRAM
The Effective Manager Program is a 10-module program where managers learn the essential skills they need to help them be effective when managing.
At Human Tribe, we have been working with teams and building leaders for over 6 years. During this time, we have developed and defined a model that can help any willing employer build a tribe that will drive the performance of their business.
EFFECTIVE
TIME MANAGEMENT
In this session, you’ll be introduced to the concept that time management equals self-management, and that if time seems out of control, then it’s because you need to learn new, more appropriate habits. We’ll explore the psychology behind habit formation and you’ll be introduced to various areas of time management, including prioritisation, time blocking, meeting preparation and setting boundaries around your time.
EFFECTIVE
LISTENING & QUESTIONING
In this session, you’ll work to understand what effective listening and questioning looks like, and the importance of both behaviours. We will explore the unspoken elements of communication, the different levels of listening, micro expressions, and examine unconscious bias and the role it plays in communication. We’ll then discuss the elements that come in to play around presence, and how you can be more in control of the way you show up in conversation.
This program is all about increasing a Manager’s interpersonal effectiveness so as to enhance the performance of the people that they manage.
EFFECTIVE
PROBLEM SOLVING
In this session, you’ll be introduced to Root Cause Analysis (RCA). You’ll learn how to problem solve by locating and eliminating the root cause of a problem rather than finding quick-fix solutions. We’ll work through the 6-steps of RCA for a live problem you’re are dealing with right now, and you’ll leave the session with a solution that you can implement and evaluate back in your workplace.
Benchmark Your
Engagement
Assuming you’re committed to building a tribe, the first thing we recommend before we dive into the Five P Method is to measure where your Employee Engagement is at.
